In The Computer Store
Returns must be accompanied with the register receipt.
The receipt provides proof of purchase from the UCSB Bookstore.
Returns for computer products must be unopened.
We are not permitted to return computer merchandise to our vendors or distributors, and we will not sell open-box items to our customers.
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
After 30 days have passed the customer is responsible for pursuing returns through the manufacturer.
Special orders are paid-in-full prior to the ordering of the product(s) from our vendors. Because special orders are unique products that we do not stock on the sales floor, returns cannot be approved unless the item is defective and a replacement needs to be re-ordered.
We are not permitted to accept returns on Apple products, unless they are defective. Defective Apple products must be taken to an Authorized Macintosh Computer Technician to be assessed before returning the product to the UCSB Bookstore.
